Getting Here

Glasgow is conveniently situated for all forms of transport.  Glasgow Caledonian University is in the city centre and is easily accessible to most combinations of travel.

Rail
Glasgow Caledonian University is situated within easy walking distance of both Glasgow Queen Street Station and Glasgow Central Station. Frequent services to London (4.5 hours) and Edinburgh (50 minutes).  For details of train times, visit the National Rail Enquiries Service.

Airport
Flight connections to all major European and American hubs from Glasgow Airport.  The airport is situated approximately 10 miles to the west of the City Centre – approximately 25 minutes by taxi.  There is also an airport direct bus link to Buchanan Street Bus Station. It is also possible to fly to other airports in Edinburgh and Prestwick.

Bus
Glasgow Caledonian University is a 5 minute walk  from Buchanan Bus Station.

Underground Rail
Glasgow Caledonian University is very close to the Buchanan Street and Cowcaddens underground railway stations – part of Glasgow’s famous “Clockwork Orange” subway system – generally recognised as the third underground railway system to be built in the world, after London and Budapest.  The subway system links the major rail stations at St Enoch (for Glasgow Central) and Buchanan Street (for Queen Street).

Car
Glasgow Caledonian University is easily accessible from the M8 motorway.
